Our eyes witness sadness as we scroll through social feeds or watch how the media portrays life events unfolding. We receive minimal truths, and it diminishes our hope for happiness and peace of mind. We receive emails that reveal another loss due to COVID-19 or an unmet need that is presenting problems for our community. There becomes a feeling of bombardment with not knowing what decision to make or how our daily life becomes better in such trying times. Our mind gives way to wonder, and negative thinking settles in and takes over. The option to choose is one of being grateful and knowing you have much to be thankful for and the door of opportunities you have hasn’t closed. We can overcome any defeat or challenge that invades our well-being with the willingness to use our spirituality and mindset of positivity.
